Privacy policy
Draft for Sara's approval, 5.11.2026
This policy explains what information passes when you browse navoisrael.com, and what happens with information you send Sara through the contact form, on WhatsApp or by email.
In short
- This is an information site. It has no sign up and no user accounts. It has one contact form, which you fill in only if you choose to.
- The site counts visits, clicks on its WhatsApp buttons and form submissions, with no cookies and without identifying anyone. There is no advertising and no tracking across sites.
- You contact Sara through the form, by WhatsApp or by email, and only if you choose to.
- There is no need to share medical information in your first message, or in the form.
Who is responsible for the information
The site belongs to NAVO, a service run by Sara Aharonovich.
- Business registration number: [TO FILL: business number]
- Postal address: [TO FILL: address]
- Email for any privacy question: sara@navoisrael.com
What the site does not collect
The site does not ask for medical information, and there is no chat and no personal area. Your name, phone number and email are given only in the contact form, and only if you choose to send it. You can read everything on the site without giving any details.
What passes when you browse
As with any website, your browser sends technical data so the page can open: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you opened and the time. Two outside services receive this data:
- Hosting: the site is hosted by Cloudflare, which receives the technical data to serve the site and protect it from attacks, under its own privacy policy.
- Fonts: the site's fonts load from Google Fonts. So when a page opens, your IP address and browser data also reach Google's servers, under Google's privacy policy.
NAVO does not use this data to identify visitors and does not combine it with other information.
Counting visits
To know which pages help, the site counts on its own, with no outside service:
- A page visit: the page, the day, the type of device (phone, computer or tablet), and the site you came from, if any.
- A click on a WhatsApp button: which button and on which page. The message itself is not stored.
- Sending the form: only that it was sent, and from which page. What you wrote is not part of the count.
Your IP address is not stored. To count visitors and not only visits, a short code is kept, calculated from the IP address and the browser with a key that changes every day. It cannot be turned back into the address, and it cannot link visits on different days. The data is shown only to Sara, as totals, in the site's admin.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies for visitors. The only cookie on the site belongs to the editing system: it is created only when Sara, the site owner, logs in to edit, and it never reaches any other visitor.
The contact form
At the end of the home page there is a short form where you can leave your details so Sara can get back to you. You fill it in only if you choose to.
- What is collected: your name and phone number (required), your email address and a short description of what you need (optional), the language of the form, and the time it was sent.
- Why: only to reply to your message. Your details are not used for mailing lists or advertising.
- Medical information: there is no need to write it in the form. A few words about the subject are enough, and you can tell the rest in a conversation.
- Where it is kept: in the site's database at Cloudflare, the site's hosting provider. [TO FILL: if messages are also emailed to Sara, through which provider]
- Who sees it: only Sara, in the site's admin, which is protected by a password.
- How long: a message is kept until Sara deletes it. The recommendation is to delete a handled message after 12 months at most. [TO FILL: the retention period Sara chooses]
- Protection against automated sending: to block programs that send forms, a short code calculated from your IP address is kept for one hour. The address itself is not stored.
- Consent: before sending, you tick a box agreeing that your details will be kept so Sara can reply, as described in this policy.
Contacting Sara by WhatsApp or email
Contacting Sara is always your choice.
- WhatsApp: the buttons on the site open WhatsApp with a prepared message. Nothing is sent until you tap "send" inside WhatsApp, and you can change the message or drop it. WhatsApp is a service of Meta, and Meta's terms and privacy policy apply when you use it.
- Email: a message to sara@navoisrael.com passes through NAVO's email provider: [TO FILL: email service provider].
What reaches Sara: your name, your phone number or email address, and what you wrote.
What Sara does with the information
- It is used only to reply to you and, if guidance begins, to provide it.
- It is not sold, not passed on for advertising and not used for mailing lists.
- It is passed to anyone else only with your explicit consent and for the purpose of your case, or when the law requires it.
- Information about a child or a family member is given by the parent, guardian, or a person helping them with their consent.
Medical information
Medical information is especially sensitive. That is why there is no need to send it in your first message. If you decide together to begin guidance, Sara will explain in advance which documents are needed and how best to send them.
- How and where medical documents are kept: [TO FILL: method and place of storage]
- How long they are kept after guidance ends: [TO FILL: retention period]
- How long messages that did not lead to guidance are kept: [TO FILL: retention period]
Your rights under Israeli privacy law
Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, you may:
- ask to see the information NAVO holds about you
- ask to correct information that is wrong, incomplete or out of date
- ask to delete information, when there is no legal or professional need to keep it
- ask to stop receiving messages
To use any of these rights, write to sara@navoisrael.com. Response time: [TO FILL: number of days for a reply].
If the answer does not satisfy you, you may contact the Privacy Protection Authority at the Israeli Ministry of Justice.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The editing system's password is checked on the server, not in the browser. Messages from the form are kept on the server and can be seen only from the site's admin. NAVO takes reasonable steps to protect information, but no system on the internet is completely immune.
Links to other sites
The site links to other services and sites, such as WhatsApp and the site of the designer who built it. Their own privacy policies apply once you move to them.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page with the date of the update.
